Pours a deep crimson hue, smells of blackberry, black cherry, and tobacco. The taste is jammy and bold with notes of blackberry, plum, and blueberry on a soft, full body. The finish is long and dry with a refreshing acidity underneath, featuring notes of elderberry, dark chocolate, raspberry, forest floor, and leather. Overall, this is definitely dry and tannic, not as much so as the Inferno, but not far behind it. It is quite bold and very enjoyable, never tiring the palate, staying refreshing and complex with each sip.
