I review the beers I drink

Angry Orchard – Pear

Ok, yeah, I bought one of the lame new 4-variety packs just to have some more ciders and to review this one. Clear with no head, smells of fresh pear, with a subtle malic acidity underneath. The taste is crisp and sweet, lots of pear flavor, with a low level of acidity and a moderate body. The finish is puckering but with a residual dry pear feel throughout. Overall, more pear flavor than I expected, but also more tart; I would really like this to be a lot drier, as-is it has limited sessionability.
