Dave Drinks Beer

I review the beers I drink

Allagash – Tripel

Moderately hazy with minimal head retention, smells of honey, wildflowers, and sourdough. The taste is lightly sweet with notes of honey and melon and a yeasty funk underneath the effervescent medium body. The finish is long and moderately bitter with notes of herbal and floral hops and citrus zest along with some residual musty funk. Overall, this is an excellent beer, very drinkable yet very complex, and exceptionally smooth given its ABV.
