I review the beers I drink

Allagash – Moselle

Lightly hazy with decent head retention, smells of floral and grassy hops with a hint of Belgian yeast. The taste is crisp with a buttered biscuit character and a charmingly rustic hint of yeasty funk underneath the medium body. The finish is long with low to moderate bitterness and floral, herbal, and grassy hop notes as well as some residual yeast. Overall, this is a cool beer. If IPLs are about elevating the hops in a lager, this is about elevating the yeast; I like it.
