I review the beers I drink

Alchimiste – Bock de Joliette

Clear with minimal head retention, smells of clean toasted malts. The taste is crisp with a bready flavor up front, along with some subtle fruity and funky flavors underneath the medium body. The finish is long but low to moderate in bitterness with notes of herbal and floral hops. Overall, it’s a fairly standard Bock, but with some extra Belgian flair from the yeast to make it unique.
