A hazy, NE style ale in appearance, nose is full, resinous hops, but with a HUGE malt periphery to it… Toasted sourdough? Peat-smoked malts? Flavor is bold and hoppy all the way through, pine resin and high bitterness, the toasty malt flavor underscores everything, but never takes the spotlight. Heavy, slick mouthfeel leads to more of a lingering of flavor than a finish, but a faint creamy sweetness does develop at the end. Very reminiscent of 90 Minute, but unique in it’s own way, and enjoyable for a full flavored IPA experience.
