I review the beers I drink

New Belgium – Citradelic

Possibly my favorite “fruit IPA,” I’m already excited. Very lightly hazed with decent head retention, smells of tangerines and subtle juicy citrus hops, very inviting. The taste is a little sweet, a little juicy, and very fruity with a crisp, light body; almost like drinking juice. The finish is moderately bitter with heavy notes of citrus peel oils and floral hopping underneath. Overall, the most sessionable IPA I’ve had; malt isn’t really shown here, but instead a perfect balance between floral and citrusy bitter hops and sweet, juicy tangerines.
