I review the beers I drink

Sam Adams – Amber Bock

Clear with decent head retention, smells of clean malt and soft fruity notes; apple and cherry come to mind. Taste is a balance of sweet caramel and savory roasted breads with a crisp bite and a medium body. Finish is dry and herbal with a low bitterness and a lingering warmth. Overall, not the most exciting beer in the winter pack, but it is the strongest, and is a solid drinkable bock, well-balanced and complex.
