I review the beers I drink

Tröegs – Troegenator Double Bock

Beautiful clear deep ruby color with decent head retention, smells of fig or raisin with hints of dark cherry and chocolate. Taste is smooth and smoky, almost peaty, with a nice warmth from the alcohol and a full body. Finish is warm and lightly bitter with a subtle herbal hop character and some residual smokiness from the malt. Very tasty beer, and this is one of my favorite styles, equally sessionable and pleasing to the palate, this is an excellent beer that works great after a meal or as one!
