I review the beers I drink

Tröegs – Hop Knife Harvest Ale

Clear with light head retention, smells of grapefruit, citrus peel, and a little mango. Taste is light malt base with a subtle juicy sweetness and moderate mouthfeel before the hops kick you in the face. Flavors of pine resin, citrus peel and grapefruit juice play out across the tongue with a high, but drinkable bitterness that slowly fades into a dry finish with a slight mineral note. Overall, not sure what makes it a “harvest ale” but it’s a solid IPA with a solid ABV… but Perpetual is better.
