I review the beers I drink

Sam Adams – Tea Party Saison

Collaboration with Woods Beer Co. from San Francisco, CA. Hazy with light head retention, smells of banana bread and clove spice, with a sour tone underneath from the wild yeast, and a faint, floral/botanical note from the yerba mate. Taste is a vegetal bitterness mixed with a tart acidity and toasty malt base, very interesting mix of flavors, paired to a full body and a clean, hop finish with a light mineral character. Definitely the most unique beer out of this pack, and very cool. I want to try more “tea beers.”
