I review the beers I drink

Tott’s – Premium Cuvée Brut California Champagne

Clear with quick to rise and even quicker to dissipate head, smells of lime, green apple, and white grape juice. The taste is crisp and lightly sweet with flavors of pear, green apple, jasmine, and lavender on an aggressively effervescent yet smooth full body. The finish is long and low in bitterness with a moderately high acidity, featuring notes of lime, green apple, lychee, frozen grapes, and a touch of minerality. Overall, this is a pretty good sparkling wine: bright, fruity, refreshing, perhaps even a bit moreish. It’s not aged so no nuttiness, and it’s perhaps not as dry as most bruts, but it is quite affordable, quaffable, and very approachable.
