Collaboration with Brewery Rickoli from Wheat Ridge, CO. Flashlight shows very deep, dark ruby tones; decent head retention. Smells of dark chocolate, smoky malt, and a hint of dark cherries underneath. Taste is a slightly sweet, slightly acidic malt base with a full, creamy body and a moderate coffee-like bitterness that blossoms into a full flavored floral hop finish. Overall, a pretty good stout, I’d drink it again if I ever saw it.
