Dogfish Head – 30 Minute IPA

Dogfish Head 30 Minute IPA

Lightly hazy with solid head retention, smells of sourdough, guava, and floral hops. The taste is crisp and light with flavors of saltines, lemon, and mineral water on a thin, light body. The finish is long and low in bitterness, featuring notes of lemon zest, floral/grassy hops, and mineral water. Overall, it’s a decent session IPA, it does its best not to taste watery but that is very difficult for this style. I’ve now had all of the “Minute IPAs” from this, to 60 (plus the PHENOMENAL Sixty One), to 75, to 90, to 120. I really can’t see myself seeking out this beer when those others exist, but it’s by no means a bad beer.
