Tree House – Tiny Treat

Hazy but not murky and with great head retention, smells of papaya, peach, and pineapple. The taste is crisp and doughy with flavors of sourdough, lemon, and tangerine on a smooth and ultra dense body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of sourdough, lemon rind, apricot, herbal hops and just a hint of pine. Overall, this isn’t bad, and perhaps the first Tree House pale ale (non-India) I’ve had, however it’s not nearly as juicy or fruity as I expected. Still haven’t been able to score the original Treat, but I can say that Super, Jumbo, and Mega Treats were better.
