This is a new alcohol-free alternative spirit containing nano emulsified THC that I obtained a few free samples of.
Smells of lemon-lime soda, tastes sweet and citrusy with a flavor akin to Sprite with some botanicals added. The finish has no burn obviously, but is quite bitter and vegetal, featuring notes of cannabis distillate, rosemary, and lemon zest. Overall the sweet and citrus forward flavors are nice and lean towards a liqueur experience, but the finish is very bitter and make it drink more like an apéritif. Drinkable by itself, but I suspect it will be better as a mixer. Effects come on quickly and are fairly potent for only 5mg, but mellow and not overwhelming.
I didn’t end up trying it by itself in a cocktail, but I did experiment with adding to cocktails I ordered at a bar. Since this product is quite botanical I paired it with gin. However it added both sweetness and lots of bitterness to a gin & tonic and essentially masked the gin and threw off the balance of the drink. Perhaps adding a 50ml bottle to a larger mixed drink would work better. Lastly, I added some of this to a negroni and it worked incredibly well, the Campari bitterness synergizes well with the IGETHI flavor.
