I review the beers I drink

Brouwerij Corsendonk – Corsendonk Christmas Ale

Lightly hazy with minimal head retention, smells of roasted malts, caramel, and honey. The taste is rich and fruity with flavors of cherry, plum, fig, and apple on a soft and creamy full body. The finish is long and low in bitterness, featuring notes of vanilla cream, cinnamon, clove, herbal hops, and subtle Belgian yeast. Overall, this is a surprisingly decadent ale, softer bodied like the Rochefort, but with balanced notes of holiday spice added.
