Moderately hazy with minimal head retention, smells of roasted malts, caramel, and honey. The taste is rich and fruity with flavors of fig, plum, raisin, apricot and cherry on a soft and smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of charred biscuits, burnt caramel, honey, herbal hops, coriander, and a hint of Belgian yeast. Overall, a fantastic beer, quite similar to the 8, but just a bit fuller and more intense. Currently the #2 Belgian Quad in the world on BeerAdvocate.
