I review the beers I drink

Abbaye Notre-Dame de Saint-Rémy – Trappistes Rochefort 8

Lightly hazy with light head retention, smells of roasted malts, caramel, and hazelnut. The taste is rich and decadent with flavors of toasted biscuits, caramel, honey, sweet cream, fig, and plum on a soft and creamy full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of charred biscuits, burnt caramel, vanilla, coriander, and subtle herbal hops. Overall, this beer is absolutely incredible, much smoother bodied than most Belgian ales, and with a milder strain of yeast. Currently the #1 Belgian Dark Strong Ale in the world on BeerAdvocate.
