Very hazy with a thick, rocky head, smells of pale malts, honey, and floral hops. The taste is crisp and floral with flavors of apple, peach, pear, orange blossom, and lavender on an effervescent full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of grapefruit peel, jasmine rice, coriander, a blend floral/herbal/spicy hops, and funky Belgian yeast. Overall, this is a very good pale ale, Belgian or otherwise just the right amount of hops and Belgian yeast to add complexity without overwhelming the palate. Currently the #1 Belgian Pale in the world on BeerAdvocate.
