Apotekarnes Julmust
Decided to try something fun and crack open a can of Julmust, the Swedish Christmas soda. I’ve had this stuff before when I was in Sweden about 12 years ago, and was feeling nostalgic.
Smells of cola, sugar, and perhaps a hint of cinnamon. The taste is sweet and spiced with flavors of raisins, cola, cinnamon, and clove, on a medium effervescent body. The finish is long and sweet, featuring notes of cinnamon, cola, and cherry. Overall, it’s kind of like a fruitier, less woody root beer, but also akin to the new limited edition flavors of Coca Cola they’ve had in recent years.
