Lightly hazy with minimal head retention, smells of apricot, lemon drop candies, and floral hops. The taste is crisp and bready with flavors of toasted wheat bread and buttered biscuits on a slick and oily full body. The finish is long moderately high in bitterness, featuring notes of pine sap, grapefruit peels, and herbal hops. Overall, it’s a fairly standard West Coast style DIPA, lots of bread and pine, but also some nice floral hops notes that I wouldn’t expect for the style.
