Beak & Skiff – 1911 Black Cherry Cider

Clear with no head retention, smells of Luxardo cherry, cherry Twizzlers, and pomegranate. The taste is sweet and tart with flavors of rich black cherry and Fuji apple contrast with hints of cranberry and green apple underneath on a silky smooth medium body. The finish is long and moderately acidic, featuring notes of black cherry, lime, rhubarb, cranberry, red grape juice, and apple. Overall, this is a fantastic cider, the cherry and the apple complement each other really well and the result is surprisingly complex and perfectly balanced between sweet and tart and aromatic.
