I review the beers I drink

Downeast – Blackberry Cider

Was given a bunch of random ciders, teas, and seltzers recently so I figured I’d review them for fun.

Moderately hazy with no real head retention, smells of blackberry, raspberry, and green apple. The taste is bright and jammy with flavors of strawberry, blackberry, elderberry, watermelon, and grape on a lightly effervescent medium body. The finish is long and moderately acidic, featuring notes of raspberry, Moscato rosé, and strawberry bon bons. Overall, this is a very fruity cider that’s both refreshing and delightfully complex.
