Hazy with light head retention, smells of lightly piney hops with a hint of spicy rye grains. Tastes of somewhat metallic hops, balanced with soft, doughy malts. Slick mouthfeel leads to a dry, peppery finish where the rye finally gets the spotlight. Overall, not terrible, well balanced and drinkable, but neither the hop character nor the rye presence can compete with American contemporaries.
