Another Sicilian white, Inzolia. Smells of apple, pear, and wildflower honey. The taste is crisp and bright with flavors of green apple, pear, strawberry, and a hint of tangerine on a light body. The finish is long and moderately dry with a moderate acidity, featuring notes of green apple, lychee, lemon, and grape leaf. Overall a very bright and flavorful white, and quite refreshing. I would personally choose the Grillo over this one, but at $14 a bottle this is the better bargain for such minimal differences.
