Clear with minimal head retention, smells of light malts and a hint of vomit, but I’ll keep an open mind. Tastes like sweet, creamy malt up front with a lightly metallic note, presumably from the hops, but that’s really the only hint of them you get. The body is rich and full, and the finish is crisp and lagery, a little dry, but mostly malts all the way through. Not a bad beer, if they’d have just labelled it as an amber ale, it’d be fine, but to call this “Hop House” and have virtually no hop aroma or flavor, is just bad taste.
