I review the beers I drink

Arnaldo Caprai – Montefalco DOC Rosso 2021

A red blend from the town of Montefalco in Umbria. Smells of plum, black cherry, and oak. The taste is jammy and a little tart with flavors of cherry, plum, black grapes, and raspberry on medium body. The finish is long and dry with a moderate acidity, featuring notes of raspberry, oak, forest floor, rhubarb, and red meat. Overall, this a very bold and well structured red that is surprisingly thin and light on the palate, but still very enjoyable with a restrained and balance tannin profile.
