Another Umbrian white, where the Orvieto was mostly Trebbiano grapes supplemented by Grechetto, this one is pure Grechetto. Smells of honeysuckle, orange blossom, and lilac. The taste is crisp and similarly floral with flavors of rosewater, white grapes, pear, and a hint of tangerine on a light body. The finish is long and dry with a moderate acidity, featuring notes of white grape must, lemon zest, and lightly bitter botanicals with a hint of minerality. Overall, it’s a nice, well structured white that starts bright and ends crisp and dry, however I would probably buy the Orvieto over this if I had to choose.
