The taste is fruity and tart with flavors of mango puree, fresh squeezed orange juice, pineapple, and lime juice on a smooth, extra thick body. The finish is long and low in bitterness and with a light puckering astringency, featuring notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, pineapple, key lime pie, and herbal hops. Overall, it’s tart but balanced and doesn’t taste like a normal kettle sour; it’s actually closer to the acidity of real fruit juice.
