Dave Drinks Beer

I review the beers I drink

Unified – Come What May 2023

Stopped by the brewery last night with some coworkers and this piqued my interest.

Lightly hazy with no lasting head retention, smells of smoked ham, citrus, and wildflowers. The taste is lightly tart with flavors of lemon, smoked ham, and saltines on a creamy smooth medium body. The finish is lightly smoky with no bitterness, featuring notes of smoked ham, lemon peel, and oak. Overall, it’s a very cool beer, I’ve had fruits before and have always enjoyed them simply for their uniqueness. This beer is a bit one dimensional though, as the lack of hops means there really isn’t much of a finish, just a fading of the initial flavors.
