I review the beers I drink

Goose Island – Bourbon County Brand Stout 2022

No sign of the flashlight shines through, no real head retention, smells of bourbon, caramel, and vanilla. The taste is smooth and lightly sweet with flavors of maple syrup, caramel, milk chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon on a smooth and creamy full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of oak, vanilla, dark chocolate, herbal hops, and a hint of smoke. Overall, this is a great vintage, one of the smoothest and creamiest in years; I will definitely need to pick up another bottle of this for aging.
