I review the beers I drink

Ommegang – Witte

Hazy with fantastic head retention, smells of banana bread and Belgian yeast. The taste is crisp and doughy with flavors of fresh proofed dough, clove, banana, lemon, and lightly spicy wheat on a smooth full body. The finish is long and low in bitterness, featuring notes of funky Belgian yeast, orange bitters, clove, banana, and subtle herbal hops. Overall, it’s a solid, traditional witbier, nothing particularly unique about it but it’s made to style and is endlessly refreshing.
