I review the beers I drink

Sam Adams – Holiday White Ale

Moderately hazy with minimal head retention, smells of orange, cinnamon, and clove. The taste is bright and citrusy with flavors of soft doughy biscuits, orange juice, and holiday spice on a smooth medium body. The finish is long and low in bitterness, featuring notes of orange zest, nutty yeast, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Overall, I enjoy this one, a lot more orange up front than is common for the style but it works and the spices help to balance out and elevate the experience.
