Tree House – Impermanence

No light shines through, head retention is minimal, smells of coffee, maple, and subtle smoke. The taste is crisp and lightly sweet with flavors of maple syrup, cold brew coffee, caramel, milk chocolate, and a hint of vanilla on a thick and syrupy full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of maple syrup, vanilla, dark chocolate, coffee, smoke, and just the slightest hint of herbal hops. Overall, it’s another fantastic stout from Tree House; all the smooth and creamy chocolate, coffee, and vanilla cream flavors you’d expect, with a nice touch of maple to smooth the whole thing out.
