I review the beers I drink

New Belgium – Pilsener

Picked up a custom 6-pack, not sure if I’ve ever had this one before or not, regardless, haven’t reviewed it. Nice straw color and clarity, smells of bready malts and grassy hops, typical of the style. Taste is sweet malt up front, followed by spicy, grassy hops and a yeasty funk. Creamy, velvety mouthfeel transitions to a dry, crisp finish with a faint funk note. Overall, not bad, good example of the style, but surprisingly not as hoppy as a Euro pils typically is.
