I review the beers I drink

New South – Java the Nut

Just a touch hazier than the Nut Brown Ale and with lighter head retention, smells of coffee, smoke, and caramel. The taste is crisp and bold with flavors of cold brew coffee, milk chocolate, toasted biscuits, and caramel on a full, but not quite as smooth body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of coffee, herbal hops, smoke, dark chocolate, and a hint of pine. Overall, this a solid beer, the addition of coffee elevates the complexity and aroma of the base beer quite elegantly.
