I review the beers I drink

New South – Dirty Myrtle

Lightly hazy with solid head retention, smells of papaya, oranges, and pine. The taste is crisp and assertive, with flavors of orange juice, guava, mango, peach, and hints lemonade on a smooth medium body. The finish is long and moderately high in bitterness, with notes of pine, lime zest, herbal hops, grapefruit peels, and just a hint of honey. Overall, it’s a solid West-Coast style IPA, assertively hopped, but still fruity, and with a firm but not overpowering malt profile underneath.
