Very hazy and lightly murky with some precipitated floaters, smells of lime, mango, and pineapple (I’m impressed!) The taste had a hint of juiciness but quickly fades to bland and bitter with flavors of lime peel, pine needles, and leather on a hugely over carbonated, abrasive full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of pine, grapefruit, and herbal hops.
Canned on: 9/22/20 “GIMME THE GREEN!”
Very hazy and moderately murky with no floaters, smells of peach, mango, and guava. The taste is creamy and juicy with flavors of orange juice, pineapple, mango, peach, lime, and papaya on a soft and smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of lime zest, grapefruit juice, apricot, melon rind, with just a touch of pine and herbal hops underneath.
Canned on: 10/4/21 “SOMETIMES… DEAD IS BETTER”
OVERALL: While I am shocked that the old Green was able to retain so much fresh aroma, everything else about is was disappointing and mediocre; in this case dead is not better. Please don’t abuse your Tree House, drink it fresh.
