I review the beers I drink

Stowe Cider – Raddle the Chains

Lightly hazy with no head retention, smells of apples, lemon, and subtle pine. The taste is light and crisp with flavors of red apples, grapefruit juice, lemon, green apple, and kiwi on a somewhat thin, light body. The finish is long and lightly tart with notes of green apple skins, lemon juice, and grapefruit zest, on a base of subtle pine and herbal hops. Overall, this is an interesting cider, complex yet very drinkable and thirst-quenching, in some ways reminiscent of a sports drink; the perfect refreshment for a round or two of disc golf at Smuggler’s Notch.
