I review the beers I drink

Trillium – Secret Stairs

Flashlight shows a lightly hazy dark ruby color with decent head retention, smells of chocolate, coffee, and dark roasted malts. The taste is rich and fudgy with flavors of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, coffee, smoke, and vanilla on a thick, smooth, and creamy full body. The finish is long and moderate to high in bitterness, featuring notes of dark chocolate, smoke, coffee, pine, and herbal hops. Overall, it’s incredibly smooth and complex, and well balanced, and all that, but it’s also a classic, simple English stout; it’s dark, it’s roasty, and boldly bitter.
