Flashlight test yields a deep ruby color. Smells strongly of coffee, with notes of smoke and chocolate underneath. Taste is coffee and smoked malt and hops all at once, then a sweet, vanilla flavor arrives and transitions through the full, creamy mouthfeel into a warm, dark chocolate, vanilla, and coffee finish. Absolutely amazing beer.
