I review the beers I drink

Tree House – Super Vivid

Very hazy and very murky with decent head retention, smells of mango, tangerine, and melon. The taste is explosively juicy and fruity with flavors of watermelon, tangerine, mango, nectarine, cantaloupe, grapefruit, honeydew, and lime on a vibrantly effervescent yet soft and smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of grapefruit, pine, lemon zest, apricot, lime peel, and herbal hops, with a strong melon rind character underneath it all. Overall, this is a very cool beer, I’ve never had anything like it. It’s juicy, and fruity, and smooth, and complex as all hell just as you’d expect from a fruited Tree House IPA, but with honeydew melon filling in the spaces between and supporting theĀ  weaker flavors while smoothing out the stronger ones. A must try beer in their portfolio.
