Tree House – Fruit Project: Mango + Stonefruit

Very hazy and moderately murky with light head retention, smells of mango, plum, and apricot. The taste is dense yet bright, with flavors of orange, plum, mango, apricot, peach, grapefruit, and lemon on a thick and chewy and soft and almost syrupy full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of lemon zest, lime peel, grapefruit, cantaloupe, pine, and white grape on a base of floral and herbal hops. Overall, this is a fun IPA; the mango honestly gets a little lost in the usual hop flavor onslaught, but the mystery “stonefruit” does add a nice layer of unique complexity that is quite intriguing.
