“Pamola is a mythological spirit with the head of a moose, the body of a man, and the wings and feet of an eagle that is said to inhabit Katahdin, the tallest mountain in Maine.” Smells faintly of hops and malt in balance. Taste is biscuity malt with a spicy hop bitterness behind it to balance everything out. Slick mouthfeel and a clean hoppy finish. Not bad, basically just a pale ale but a solid, balanced example.
