Very hazy with light sedimentation and minimal head retention, smells of cantaloupe, honeydew, and wildflower honey. The taste is crisp and doughy with notes of white grape, cantaloupe, honeydew, and grapefruit on a medium body. The finish is long and low to moderate in bitterness, featuring notes of lime zest, floral, and pine hops. Overall, it’s a unique beer in the series, a “melon bomb” of sorts, that’s a really cool experience if for nothing else than to teach oneself what Amarillo hops bring to the table.
