Dave Drinks Beer

I review the beers I drink

Stone – Delicious IPA

Another “gluten reduced” beer. Clear with minimal head retention, smells of dog biscuits, honey, and floral hops. The taste is crisp and bready with notes of toasted biscuits, oats, and honey on a medium body. The finish is long and moderately bitter with notes of herbal and pine hops along with a touch of lime zest. Overall, it’s a decent IPA, much maltier than anything I’ve had from Stone before, and not quite as bitter as a result. Unsurprisingly not as citrusy as advertised, though while I’m not very experienced with gluten reduced/free beers, this is probably the best one I’ve had.
