I review the beers I drink

Hawke’s – Slam Dunk Cider

Slightly hazy with no head retention, smells of tart, crisp apple and not much else. The taste is sweet with notes of fresh aromatic apple, honey, and a very subtle acidity on a medium body. The finish is short and lightly astringent featuring notes of apple skins, mineral water, and just a hint of apple cider vinegar. Overall, this is a well made, well balanced cider, in the sweet spot between dry and tart, but otherwise fairly simple and straightforward.
