I review the beers I drink

Maine Beer Company – Woods & Waters

Named after the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, intended to be “reminiscent of the outdoors.” Lightly hazy with strong head retention, smells of pale malt, lemongrass, and grapefruit. The taste is crisp and bready with notes of melon, mango, and grapefruit swirling under the thick, chewy body. The finish is long and moderately bitter with notes of grapefruit pith, herbal, and soft pine hops. Overall, this a very well balanced and approachable IPA, not too bitter but not too bold either, just a nice, refreshing, very fresh tasting beer.
