Captain Lawrence Powder Dreams (Azacca/Ella)
Excited to try another beer from this series! Moderately hazy with good head retention, smells of pineapple, mango, and citrus. The taste is crisp and fruity with a lightly toasted bread background and loads of juicy pineapple and grapefruit notes on a full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, with notes of citrus zest, herbal, and floral hops. Overall, it’s a delicious, super juicy NEIPA. From what I can remember of the (Mosaic/Azacca/Ella) version, I liked that one better, but this is still a fantastic beer.
